Les field recordings et les samples de speechs s’étirent en des amas bruitistes détournés de leur quotidien, l’hymne américain se voyant déformé et déconstruit à l’image d’un drapeau que l’on lacère jusqu’à le faire disparaitre.
Star of The West nous raconte l’histoire de notre déchéance avec ses fake news et ses idéologies mensongères envahissant le monde de manière souterraine, jusqu’à exploser dans nos vies, destabilisant les amitiés et les familles, désunissant les liens sacrés de l’amour et de la tolérance.
On est frappé de plein fouet par la justesse des sonorités employées et les traitement qui leurs sont imposés, virant dans une noise abrasive et tentaculaire entrainant tout sur son passage, bouche carnassière à la violence directe et sans retenue, point of view de l’intérieur d’une gangrène proléliférante.
